I think I should join the SAR, Sons of the American Revolution. I do have a family member who took the time to actually fill out all the paper work and perform the research, (it shouldn't be that hard, we have a big book on our family, plus, we have been here since 1635, so yeah). Unfortunately, my ancestors were not Tories, and most of the men fought in the Revolutionary War, (you're welcome). My most rebellious ancestor participated in the Boston Tea Party, it is said that he was a merchant, (ugh, the merchant class).
Salmon P. Chase, one of my more famous ancestors, was in Lincoln's cabinet, and at his death bed. Ooohh, aahhh.
